Lynnville Choo Choo

Okay, I am finally returning to the blog to post the Choo Choo trip. We had a blast! We had lunch on the square in Lynnville. If you are looking for a great burger, go to the diner on the square there. So Gooood!! Kudos to the people in Lynnville too! They are so nice.

We distracted Phillip for a little while with a milkshake so we could eat lunch. Then he rode the merry go round on the sidewalk in front of the diner. It was a quarter to ride it. I didn't know you could do anything for a quarter any more.

Next it was off to the train. We looked around in the train station, which is a really cute little museum. Then we headed out to the train. Phillip got to ring the bell on the train. Oh he just loved it! We climbed in every train car. When we were just getting ready to leave, we heard a train whistle. Here comes a train on the track next to us. Phillip was just shaking with excitement. It was wonderful!

Backing up a little... Before we went to Lynnville, Sam's brother Ben called wanting to know if we wanted tickets to Disney on Ice. Not just any tickets... boxseat tickets and a parking pass. So after the trip to Lynnville, we traveled up to Cool Springs to meet Ben.

On Saturday, Mema, Phillip and I headed to the Sommet Center to watch Disney on Ice. Phillip loved it. Lightning McQueen, Mickey Mouse, and tons of pretty little princesses.... what more could a boy want! Thank you Uncle Ben!!
